In the beginning there was the typewriter…
What began in the 1950s with a papeterie and typewriter business developed over the years into one of the most prestigious furniture stores in Switzerland. Founded in 1970, Büro Wickart AG is the origin of today’s Bruno Wickart AG, which was founded in 1981. In 1998, the company’s head office was opened at Baarermattstrasse in Zug, which shows a variety of furniture classics with an exhibition area of more than 2000 sqm.
At the end of April 2016, industry expert Isidoro Celentano took over the company as part of an external succession plan. At the same time, the workforce of our employees, some of whom have been with us for many years, will remain in place, thus preserving another important source of industry know-how for our customers.
As time went on, partnerships have been established with manufacturers such as USM, Vitra, Fritz Hansen, Cassina, Minotti, Walter Knoll, ClassiCon, etc. Over the years. Through this collaboration, we are able to offer world-famous „originals“ of various designers such as Charles & Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, Verner Panton, Eileen Gray, to name but a few, in our assortment.

On more than 2000 sqm of bright exhibition space, we offer everything you need for your home. Starting with small things, accessories such as cushions, wall clocks, vases, blades and figures to large items such as chairs, sofas, shelves, stools, pendant, floor and table lamps and much more. A real feast for the eyes… Sit or lie down.
Feel the fabrics and materials. Their value will speak for itself. Stroll through our worlds of design classics and get involved in a new generation living experience. Fresh and cheeky new collections from Paris and Denmark, for example, which surprise and at the same time convince with their new, modern and valuable appearance.
