Céline, large, deep, extremely inviting, transforms into a comfortable single bed as an armchair (mattress dimensions 90×200 cm) or into a double bed as a sofa (mattress dimensions 160×200 cm). Both are upholstered in removable fabric or Ecopelle. The cover of the armchair and sofa can be made in one color or in two color variants of the same fabric: one for the outside of the backrest and the side parts of the seat, one for the inside of the backrest and the upper part of the seat.

Memoform or Special mattresses are available for both models, which can be folded out on a slatted structure with castors. This structure can easily be pulled out to transform the armchair into a single bed and the sofa into a double bed.

Fredericia: Spine Daybed by Space Copenhagen

When designing the new daybed, Space Copenhagen wanted to create a piece of furniture with a clean and calm surface without dominant tufting knobs to disturb the look or feel of the daybed. A surface that is pleasant to touch and comfortable to lie on. The design also includes a flexible cushion that acts as both a neck support and armrest. The cushion sits loosely and has a strong fabric or leather strap to ensure it doesn’t slide around but can be moved as required.

The Spine Daybed is a multifunctional piece of furniture that can be placed at any angle, making it perfect for furnishing a living room, in an open hall, as an additional piece of furniture or in public spaces such as museums, hotels, stores ..

Beautifully crafted from oak, the Spine Daybed represents a continuation of Fredericia’s unique upholstery techniques, offering elegant piping on the sides and center of the daybed and on the cushion. A charming decorative detail that also enhances the durable properties of the furniture.

Together with Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, the designer duo behind Spine, Fredericia is looking forward to launching their Spine Daybed at the Stockholmfurniture Fair in February 2016.

Wittmann: Bed Couch

The simple division of the seating and sleeping furniture into a short and long backrest creates two seating situations – comfortable reclining or upright sitting. This design by Frederick Kiesler was executed for the Mergentime apartment in New York in 1935.

Plus Halle: Ziggi Daybed

Day Bed 710 models the strength, simplicity and versatility of Aalto’s L-leg family. The bentwood legs and slatted frame provide a stable, lightweight structure that can be moved when needed. The Day Bed 710 is made of solid birch and invites you to both sit and lie down. In addition to the mattress, the day bed can also be fitted with cushions; both items are equipped with removable covers and are available in various colors and textiles.

The Perfo bed offers relaxation in the greatest simplicity. A straightforward horizontal line is supported by wooden feet or metal runners. The lying surface is perforated and covered with needle felt, which ensures good ventilation of the mattress. The headboard can be raised. Perfo offers more than standard sizes. It can be tailored to individual requirements and the room situation.

With the ZLIQ Island Lounge, you can create a cozy retreat that invites you to linger and relax. The modular sofa offers space for up to seven people and can be extended using a sofa element on wheels. This means that the sofa can be converted into a spacious reclining area in just a few simple steps.

The measured intensity of the color

The tubular steel structure of the Antibodi project becomes the pattern with which the designer creatively makes up the frame, changing it by giving the seats different characters depending on the material used. The twist of the thread resembles pencil lines that highlight a surface that is both graphic and structural, becoming a constructive gesture and a form of identity: playful with the plasticity of the worked cords in two or three colors, refined when monochromatic, elegant with leather.

Steel structure painted red RAL 3020 and weave in multicolored synthetic yarn. The Day bed mattress is in polyurethane foam suitable for outdoor use; cushions in polyester wadding for outdoor use. The collection is supplied complete with cushions.

ClassiCon: Ulisse Daybed

With Ulisse, Konstantin Grcic further develops his idea of a daybed and combines the symbolism of a simple lounger with the materiality of a perfectly crafted, elegant piece of furniture in the tradition of modernism. The adjustment mechanism of the daybed and the cross-sections of the legs are inspired by the classic designs of Charlotte Perriand or Eileen Gray, their modernity and precision, and thus fit perfectly into the ClassiCon collection.

Ulisse is a daybed that, with its large, freely stretched reclining surface, becomes a symbol of relaxation and comfort and almost looks like the pictogram of a lounger. In its simple, emblematic elegance, the daybed evokes associations with archaic furniture of African or Japanese origin, which in turn were sources of inspiration for many modern designers. Ulisse is therefore much more than just functional furniture; it becomes an expression of the connection between modernity and the present, indeed a symbol of a moment of peace and luxury.

In the ten years that have passed since Swiss designer Hannes Wettstein created the Delphi sofa, its clean and iconic design and high quality have already made it a household name. The Delphi is also available as an elegant daybed.

Aluminum alloy legs, either polished or with natural or black satin nickel finish, or lacquered black. Steel frame. Elastic strip suspension. Upholstery in polyurethane/heat-bonded polyester fiber. Seat, back and armrest cushions padded with goose down. Removable fabric or leather cover. The reclining chairs without armrests and the end sofas are suitable for arranging a solid wood shelf, in natural or gray lacquered oak or in natural lacquered Canaletto walnut. Cassina: 241 Privé Daybed

The frame and legs are made of polished aluminum with visible straps to match the leather upholstery. The seat is held in place by straps and consists of CFC-free PU foam of different densities with a layer of special viscoelastic „memory“ foam that always returns to its original shape. The backrest and armrests consist of a steel structure upholstered with PU foam and polyester padding. The horizontal armrest on the right or left, which also serves as a support or storage surface, can be fixed or height-adjustable. Shelf made of shiny stainless steel, on which a Flos Archimoon lamp is mounted. Armchairs and sofas in three widths and with reduced seat depth (no armrest/shelf). The quilted cover is made of leather.
