Anyone arriving in the Engadin immediately senses the special atmosphere: the clear light, the vastness of the landscape, the powerful presence of the historic village structures. The newly built Hotel Maistra 160 picks up on this mood and translates it into a contemporary yet deeply rooted architecture that is reminiscent of classic Engadin hotels – and reinterprets them.
Inside, a feeling of well-being unfolds that goes far beyond a mere overnight stay. Natural materials, carefully coordinated colours and a precise lighting design create rooms in which guests immediately feel at home. Instead of a surface-mounted light, the LINIjA Vario Beam blends into the bed console and thus remains part of the architecture. The technology takes a back seat, the effect remains clearly perceptible:
