Eames Collection – Update Season 2/2025
The Eames Collection has been extensively revised to keep it contemporary and relevant for future generations. A central element of this update is the redesign of the colour palette – inspired by the original colour schemes of Charles and Ray Eames. In addition, Vitra is now increasingly focussing on European woods and new surface treatments that emphasise sustainability and durability. This means that the collection not only remains true to the iconic design, but is also modernised and ecologically optimised.
Slow Chair & Slow Sofa
Vitra’s Slow Chair, established since 2006, is getting a new addition: the successful product line is being expanded with the new Slow Sofa. The Slow Sofa takes the relaxed design language and comfort of the chair and translates these qualities into lounge seating for two. This is Vitra’s response to the desire for more comfort and informal living solutions – all in the spirit of a modern, relaxed living experience with aesthetic appeal.
Further updates & Special Edition

In addition to the central new products, Vitra is also focussing on other highlights: the Anagram sofa by Panter&Tourron has been further developed and now offers an increased level of comfort. A special collector’s item is the limited edition of the Antony armchair by Jean Prouvé, which will be available exclusively via vitra.com and selected partners from 1 July. These targeted product updates and launches are embedded in a communication campaign tailored to the respective target groups, which increases the visibility and desirability of the collection.
