Cassina x Kiton – icons in a new guise
The collaboration between
Cassina, the Italian pioneer of industrial furniture design, and
Kiton, the epitome of Neapolitan tailoring, is a tribute to Italian excellence. To mark the 60th anniversary of the “iMaestri” collection, the legendary armchair by Le Corbusier, Jeanneret and Perriand is being reinterpreted – with luxurious cashmere velour, woven from the finest Mongolian fibres in Kiton’s traditional wool mill in Biella.
Two fascinating bicolour variants –
royal blue and
burgundy red – embody a new understanding of design: form, colour and material in harmonious dialogue. Limited to just 120 pieces, this edition combines decades of experience, avant-garde design and the highest level of craftsmanship.

3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, grand modèle, durable,
Cassina and
Kiton are not only celebrating 60 years of design history – they are redefining luxury and craftsmanship.
Originally designed in 1928 by
Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret® and Charlotte Perriand® for the Villa Church and part of the Cassina iMaestri collection since 1965, this iconic armchair is getting a new look in 2025 – more refined than ever:
Kiton, world-renowned for the finest fabrics and uncompromising quality, dresses the armchair in
exclusive cashmere velour, woven in the company’s own manufactory in Biella. The fabric is made from the finest Mongolian fibres – incomparably soft, robust and sustainably processed.
The limited edition comprises only
120 numbered pieces –
60 of each colour variant:
– Royal blue inside, aubergine outside
– Aubergine inside, royal blue outside
These colour combinations are inspired by Le Corbusier’s colouristic thinking and celebrate the dialogue between space, light and object.
The frame made of glossy lacquered steel in deep blue, the upholstery made of recycled fibres and bio-based polyurethane – every detail reflects both brands’ commitment to sustainability, innovation and Italian excellence.
