Ava Lamp Series from HAY by Ana Kraš – light poetry with attitude
Inspired by an improvised design in a Parisian flat, the Ava Lamp Series was created – a collection of table, wall and pendant lamps with a calm, archetypal expression. Made from ECOPET™, a sustainable material made from recycled PET, and framed by graphic textile ribbon, the lamps appear light as a feather – almost like paper – and emit a warm, soft light.
The designer Ana Kraš, born in Serbia and now based between Paris and New York, works at the interface of furniture, object and lighting design. Her designs for HAY include the iconic Bonbon Shade – now, with Ava, she has created a new interpretation of classic lamp shapes, restrained, poetic and modern.
