Showroom experience: see, feel and compare design

Buy PABLO DESIGN LUMINAIRES at www.bruno-wickart.ch A pendant luminaire never appears “just” in the catalogue. Proportion, glare control, material appearance and light distribution only unfold in the room. In our showroom, you can compare different lighting effects – from atmospheric ambient lighting to functional, directed light above the table. Our tip: Bring photos of the room, dimensions (table, ceiling height) and – if available – your floor plan. This will make the consultation as precise as possible.

Stella: a pendant light that changes its shape

Designer:

Buy PABLO DESIGN LUMINAIRES at www.bruno-wickart.ch Stella is the brainchild of  – a team of designers and makers who consistently combine technology, material and user experience. The result: a luminaire that not only looks beautiful, but also feels practical.

Materials, details, finish

  • Materials: steel canopy, aluminium arm segments, polycarbonate diffuser
  • Finish: matt lacquered in graphite or sand
  • Quality of detail: Mechanical connections and fixings are discreetly concealed inside – for a clean, uninterrupted silhouette from every angle.

Dynamic lighting effect: shining from the inside to directly downwards

In its compact state, Stella has a rather atmospheric and inwardly illuminating effect. If you open the arms outwards, not only does the size change, but also the direction of the light – towards directed, downward-emitting light. This makes Stella ideal when a room needs to fulfil several moods: Dinner, conversation, reading, arriving.

Ideal areas of application in the private home

  • Above the dining table: as a versatile centre between everyday life and a host’s moment
  • In the entrance or stairwell: as a sculptural welcome with architectural clarity
  • As a group: in spacious living areas or galleries as a chandelier composition

Technology that impresses in everyday life

  • Fully dimmable (for soft evening mood to functional working light)
  • Light colour: 2700K or 3000K
  • Light output: 1700 lumens, CRI 90 (natural colour rendering)
  • Power consumption: 45W

FAQ:  Stella in the private home

1) What room sizes is Stella suitable for?

Thanks to its variable diameter, Stella is suitable for compact areas (e.g. small round table) as well as for large dining tables or open-plan living rooms. The decisive factor is how wide you open the light and how high the ceiling is.

2) Is Stella better suited to ambient or direct light?

Both. When compact, the light appears rather soft and inwardly orientated. When open, Stella produces significantly more directed light downwards – ideal for table situations.

3) Where does Stella look best?

Stella is particularly effective above table surfaces, in entrance zones or in high rooms. In open floor plans, it can act as a sculptural centre – individually or as a group.

4) Which light colour is the right one: 2700K or 3000K?

2700K has a warmer and cosier effect (perfect for evening moods). 3000K is somewhat clearer and is suitable if you want more presence and function without appearing cool.

5) Is Stella dimmable and suitable for everyday use?

Yes, Stella is fully dimmable. This is exactly what makes it so valuable in the private home: you can switch effortlessly from functional light to a relaxed atmosphere.

6) Which surface is better: graphite or sand?

Graphite has a graphic, elegant and high-contrast effect – ideal for dark accents, wood, stone or monochrome concepts. Sand looks softer, lighter and particularly harmonious in natural, warm interiors.

7) Can several Stella luminaires be combined?

Yes, especially in spacious rooms or above long tables, a grouping can create an impressive chandelier effect. We recommend planning the axes, spacing and dimming zones.
