Today it’s all about light! 🌞 Our friend finally wanted to light her home office so that she could concentrate on her work
and feel comfortable. It goes without saying that Mia, Lisa, Lena, Alex and Noah were sitting at the table right away. Everyone had their own special tip – and the solution was surprisingly simple.
Question and answer section

Why is light so important in the home office?
Lena 💡: Good light makes the difference between tiredness and flow! It influences your concentration, mood – even your perception of colours.
Noah 🏛️: It’s also about the spatial effect: light opens up or defines zones, creates atmosphere.

What is the biggest mistake when it comes to light in the workspace?
Lisa 📐: Just relying on the ceiling light – that’s like cooking with just one pot. Too little, too inflexible.
Mia 🎨: And: If the light is dazzling or too bright, you’ll quickly get a headache.

What types of light do I actually need?
Alex 🛠️: Task light directly at the table, preferably glare-free. Plus indirect room lighting for balance.
Lena 💡: And dimmable, please! That way the light adapts to you – not the other way round.

How do I find the right colour temperature?
Mia 🎨: Warm light (around 2700 K) calms, cool light (from 4000 K) activates. Change depending on the time of day.
Noah 🏛️: Similar to daylight in the morning – cosy and warm in the evening. Your biorhythm will thank you.

What are the benefits of high CRI?
Lena 💡: Colour rendering index 90+ shows colours as they really are. Important for mood boards, fabric samples or simply a good skin tone in the call 😉.
Does light always have to be permanently installed?
Alex 🛠️: Nope! Flexible lights like “John” can be precisely aligned. Perfect for any mood or work task.
