The Slow Sofa, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, is the latest addition to the successful Slow Collection – and the logical evolution of an iconic armchair design into a two-sided retreat for modern living spaces. It combines visual lightness with deep, lounge-like comfort – and is as functional as it is emotional.
✨ Design & design language
The Slow Sofa follows the same design philosophy as the Slow Chair: less volume, more presence. The proportions are compact, but generous enough to comfortably seat two people. The overall silhouette is deliberately kept low and – despite its physical comfort – appears to almost float.
The sofa is not defined by solidity, but by elegance:
