How do we want to work today – and how does space influence our thinking? The new study ‘The Architecture of Work’ by USM and designer Alexander May opens up visionary perspectives on the modern workplace – flexible, functional and emotionally sophisticated. Discover it now.
Living with feeling – working with character
How we work characterises our well-being. Spaces influence concentration, creativity and interpersonal dynamics. At Bruno Wickart AG, we don’t see workspace design as a function – but as an experience. That’s why we are delighted to include ‘The Architecture of Work’ collection by USM and Alexander May in our curated range.
Our consulting philosophy – personal, functional, with vision
Every working environment is as individual as the people who work in it. This is exactly where our advice comes in: in a personal dialogue, with architectural understanding, brand knowledge and a feel for atmosphere. From the first mood board through to realisation, we accompany you on the way to a place that inspires, structures and motivates.

Product presentation: The Architecture of Work
Inspired by the architecture of New York and the functional clarity of the USM Haller system, Creative Director Alexander May developed six workspace typologies with a strong character:
Collector – curiosity and reference
Strategist – structure and restraint
Editor – precision and rhythm
Maker – experimentation and materiality
Archivist – order and collection
Observer – Reflection and perspective
Each workspace is a physical manifesto of this mindset – between eight and twelve feet wide, modular in design, can be used individually or combined as a spatial network. All configurations can be ordered individually.
