Bringing out the little things in a big way

Shortly before Christmas, we visit the Bruno Wickart exhibition in Zug once again. With a good three months to go before we move in, we would like to take another look at the details: the accessories. Basically, we will have less storage space than before. Nevertheless, we have agreed on a few accessories that we don’t want to do without.

In the kitchen, for example, the Vitra tray is perfect for fruit and is also easy to clean. As we have opted for a white-greyish worktop, we will also use the tray in the classic white color. Indirect light is important to us in the library/office room.

In addition to a Petite Potence from Vitra, the timeless JWDA from Menu finds its place on the String shelf. In tidy and well-staged showrooms, we could spend hours gazing at the objects. The fantastic water glasses from Ferm Living immediately caught our eye. However, we will have to do without them as we only recently bought new ones. We have become a little more cautious about using candles because of the children.

But the Float candle holderfrom Muuto and place it somewhere out of reach of children’s hands. While we’re on the subject of children: we also design the children’s rooms in a neutral color scheme from white to light grey, so that toys or accessories become the main protagonists. The plush giraffe from Oyoy is a welcome splash of color. Our green fingers are limited, but we still try to provide a home for a few plants.

The plant box from Ferm Living is perfect for us because it showcases plants perfectly. Until now, a discarded oak barrel has served as a bar. However, we would like to use it elsewhere for space reasons. So we need a bar trolley.

The crown favorite is the Grace bar trolley fromSchönbuch. However, we’ll have to wait and see whether our budget allows for this.
