Zug, July 4, 2017 – Specialist furniture retailer Bruno Wickart AG has completely redesigned its Zug showroom. Customers, design enthusiasts and aficionados can still expect to find classics and designer furniture from renowned manufacturers such as USM, Vitra, Cassina and Minotti, to name but a few, as well as modern workstation designs based on the smartworking principle and a wide range of high-quality accessories on around 2,000m2. The new showroom design is intended to inspire as a whole and draw attention to new living and working environments. The friendly and bright exhibition space of around 2,000m2 has been completely redesigned. Living and working worlds merge and present the possibilities for living and working today, adapted to individual needs and wishes. The showroom and expert advice show how much influence the „right“ use of lighting and textile expertise has on the feel-good climate in the room, sometimes with only very marginal adjustments. In the new showroom, customers and interested parties can find most of the items offered in the company’s own online store – online shopping to touch, so to speak. The new showroom design was implemented by various companies from the region. The result: a showroom that wants to immerse its customers in new worlds of furnishing, worlds that inspire, confirm and motivate them. The new exhibition guides the customer gently but in a structured way through various living and working environments. After 2,000m2 of new impressions, the customer should go home with the secure feeling that they have not missed anything but will definitely want to come back. The new showroom gives visitors plenty of freedom for their own thoughts and offers inspiration at the same time. The design concept by Zurich-based designer This Weber is based on a precise adaptation of the values that Bruno Wickart stands for: Highest customer orientation, best quality and reliable service. With the new showroom, Bruno Wickart wants to strengthen its commitment to optimal furnishing in Central Switzerland and the surrounding area. The room-in-room concept enables a year-round product show through which the company can „experience“ the advantages of the product lines from A for Alessi to Z for Zanotta. The opening evening on June 21, 2017, confirmed that Bruno Wickart is in tune with the spirit of the times with this project, as guests were also surprised by the company’s expertise as a complete interior designer. Bruno Wickart’s customers traditionally have a strong focus on design and the variety and sophistication of the product collections provide them with a great deal of flexibility to realize their sophisticated ideas and wishes. Bruno Wickart does everything in its power to surprise its customers and design lovers time and again with the new showroom concept. Furnishing ideas over 3 floors

On the first floor, visitors are welcomed and their curiosity aroused by a broad presentation of designer furniture and accessories. On the mezzanine floor, the Italian collections and expertise are mainly represented, such as Minotti, Cassina, MDF Italia and Poliform, each in their characteristic presentations. The upper floor focuses primarily on Swissness, our Swiss collections, such as USM, Vitra, Thut, Röthlisberger, Lehni, WOGG, to name but a few, as well as on the major Scandinavian brands such as Fritz Hansen, Muuto, Hay, Menu and a few others.

We always work with Swiss manufacturers who share our understanding of design and philosophy and manufacture products that we can recommend without reservation. A light tunnel presents a selection of lighting expertise

An approximately 16-meter-long light tunnel puts the lighting expertise of brands such as Artemide, Flos, Foscarini, Belux and many more in the right light and allows visitors to test and examine, but above all to let it work on site. Showroom design by This Weber

This Weber, born in 1973, studied jewelry and industrial design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zurich. In April 2010, This Weber opened his own studio in Zurich and has since worked for various clients in Switzerland and abroad. This is already the second showroom concept that This Weber has successfully realized with owner Isidoro Celentano.
